RALPH CARLO MONAKIL

MUSIC

Ralph Carlo Monakil is a music director, conductor, and pianist. He has won in various piano competitions and was recipient of the University of Santo Tomas’ Benavides Outstanding Achievement Award in 2009. He is the Founder and Music Director of the Nueno Classico Chamber Singers; Artistic Director of the Cavite Symphony Orchestra; and Pianist at Nueno Classico. He earned his Bachelor of Music major in Piano Performance from the UST Conservatory of Music in 2011.

RYAN HANZEL MONAKIL

MUSIC

Ryan Hanzel Monakil is a violinist, arranger, composer, and teacher. He is currently the Concertmaster of the Cavite Symphony Orchestra and a regular casual member of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra. He teaches underprivileged children in Cavite through the Imus Youth String Society. He studied violin and piano at the age of 6 and became a member of the Santa Isabel College Chamber Orchestra at the age of 10. He had solo recitals and was a featured soloist in numerous concerts by the time he finished high school. He entered the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Prof. Sergio Z. Esmilla, Jr. He was a member of the UST Symphony Orchestra and served as Assistant, Associate, and Concert Master from 2012-2017. He graduated Cum Laude in 2017.

RICO J. DEL ROSARIO

MUSIC

Rico del Rosario is a freelance singer and one-man band. He plays the keyboard, piano, and guitar. Together with the Earth Savers Dream Ensemble, designated as UNESCO Artists for Peace in 2003, he toured in different countries as singer and pianist, and musical director from 1994 to 2013. He currently performs as a singer and pianist in hotels, restaurants and bars, mostly in Cavite.

ANA MARIE S. TOPACIO

MUSIC

Ana Marie S. Topacio is a singer, vocal coach, and choir conductor. She is currently the Coordinator of the Ministry of Music in the Liturgy, the Ministry of Cantors, and the official wedding singer of the Imus Cathedral.  In the Philippines, she has performed with various orchestras and brass bands. In Germany, she has won several prizes in singing competitions, performed as a singer, and appeared in television shows. She is a pioneer member of Imusicapella Chamber Choir, which had concert tours in Europe.   A graduate of BSC-Banking and Finance at Imus Institute and Linguistics Major in German at the University in Oldenburg, Germany, she received the Gawad Parangal ng Imus (Col. Jose S. Tagle Award) for young achievers in 2012.

MARK ANTHONY LAVAPIE

MUSIC

Mark Anthony Lavapie is a singer, musician, and composer. He is a member and guitarist of  Aksento, an all-male band formed in Cavite. His band’s music is predominantly  alternative R&B. Their music revolves around love, family, positivity, and relationship. They promote their music  through social media, live gigs, and other media platforms, as well as television and radio guestings. The band launched their  first album in December 2019 with its carrying single “Akala”.

ANDREW CONSTANTINO

MUSIC

Andrew Constantino is a clarinetist. He had his first clarinet lessons at the age of nine under his father and after a year, appeared as a soloist — performing in many concerts locally. He was accepted as a music scholar at the Philippine High School for the Arts (PHSA) where he graduated with high honors. He earned his Bachelor of Music degree in Clarinet Performance, Cum Laude, at the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music. He was also the recipient of the Benavides Award for Outstanding Achievement. He was featured by the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra during its “Sunsets at Makiling” concert and had his first professional concert under the Manila Chamber Orchestra Foundation Young (MCOF) Young Artists’ Series in 2015. He won grand prize and “best interpretation of contest piece” prize at the National Music Competition for Young Artist (Woodwind Category C) held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. He participated at the Singapore International Festival of Music and held many chamber recitals, orchestra concerts and solo concerts during the festival in 2016. He joined the Asian Youth Orchestra Rehearsal Camp and toured across Asia in 2019. He had attended various master classes with Mr. John Schertel, Dr. Wendy Mazon, Mr. Marcel Luxen, Mr. Andrew Simon, Mr. Florent Heau and Mr. Pierre Genisson.

ARIEL S. CONSTANTINO

MUSIC

Ariel S. Constantino is a conductor and teacher. He took over in managing Banda Kabataan, also known as  the Imus Youth Symphonic Band 83, from his father after migrating to the USA. For almost 38 years, he has been teaching and training for free young Imuseños to become talented musicians. He led the Imus Youth Symphonic Band in a series of band competitions — winning successfully in every event. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Industrial Engineering at Mapua Institute of Technology.
